Kathleen Mack

MSW, LCSW

Kathleen is a licensed therapist offering in-person, virtual, and writing-based psychotherapy. She is the owner of Bearing Witness, LLC and believes that “bearing witness” lies at the heart of healing - meeting each person with presence, acceptance, and loving kindness in all of the  expressions of being human.

Kathleen’s work is grounded in the Yogic principle of “Purusha”, the unchanging, whole nature within. Through thoughtful, powerful questions, she guides clients inward, creating a safe space to rebuild self-trust and reconnect with their innate wholeness. We need not gain anything new; we only need to remove the obstacles to knowing who we already are.

Kathleen has expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, including Schema Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Exposure Response Prevention for Anxiety) and incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotion regulation and distress tolerance. As a devoted student and teacher of Yoga, she integrates Mindfulness and the science of breath and movement to support not just insight, but embodied healing.

Clients of Kathleen’s can expect unrelenting compassion, meaningful education, and attempts  at humor along the way.

At her core, Kathleen is a mindful student of life - curious about humanity, consciousness, Spirit, and God. She is a mother of three, lover of nature, and values both solitude and the deep connection friendship can offer.

In addition to her MSW and LCSW, her continuing training includes: Journey of Intrinsic Health Coaching Program with Zach Bush, MD (2022); End-of-Life Doula Training through INELDA (2021); Reiki Levels I & II (2020); RYT-200; and ongoing 300-hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.
